David, Victoria and Brooklyn Beckham Unfollow One Another on Instagram as Family Tensions Continue

Brooklyn also doesn’t follow his brothers, Cruz and Romeo, on Instagram — and they don’t follow him back.

David and Victoria Beckham’s follower lists on Instagram have changed, and so has that of their oldest child, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham.

Brooklyn, 26, is no longer following his parents on Instagram, and the retired soccer star and fashion designer aren’t following him either. The couple also doesn’t follow Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham. David, 50, and Victoria, 51, also don’t appear among the accounts Nicola follows on Instagram.

David and Victoria still follow their other sons, Romeo and Cruz. Their youngest child, Harper, has a private Instagram account. Brooklyn doesn’t follow Romeo or Cruz, and they don’t follow him back. The same appears to be true for Nicola, 30.

Cruz, 20, later addressed the situation on his Instagram Stories. Posting a screenshot of a news story about the unfollowing, he wrote that it wasn’t accurate, adding that his parents would never unfollow their son. He said they had woken up blocked — and that he had been blocked too.

Representatives for David and Brooklyn did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Saturday, Dec. 20. A spokesperson for Victoria said Cruz was responding to reports claiming his parents had unfollowed their son, which the spokesperson said was not true.

The Instagram activity comes during a rocky period for the family.

In 2022, Brooklyn married Nicola in a wedding in Palm Beach, Florida, attended by family and friends. The celebration also fueled ongoing rumors of tension between Brooklyn and Nicola and the rest of the Beckham family.

At the time, there was speculation that Nicola and Victoria were at odds after Nicola chose not to wear a dress designed by Victoria, despite initially planning to. One source said earlier this year that the reports of a clash were real, while another said the dress story was not true.

There were also claims that tensions escalated after Victoria allegedly took over a dance moment that Brooklyn and Nicola had planned during the reception, while Marc Anthony performed the song as a gift to the couple.

In May, David marked his 50th birthday with a celebrity-filled party in London. Victoria, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper attended, but Brooklyn and Nicola did not, even though they were invited.

Soon after, a source said Brooklyn and Nicola skipped the event because of Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, who the source claimed had previously been linked to Brooklyn. Cruz later replied to an Instagram commenter saying Brooklyn and Kim never dated, a separate source echoed that claim, and Turnbull also denied the rumor.
